FREE EVENT: ALLOA LIBRARY THURSDAY 25TH JUNE, 7.30PM. A Homecoming Scotland 2009 event from Clackmannanshire Libraries. We are looking for people to come along and read (or sing if they wish) poems on a Scottish theme. They can be in any language and dialect of Scotland. The poems don't need to be limited to national matter, they can include local areas of interest etc. The poems can either be one of their own or an old favourite. If you don't wish to read please come along and just soak up the atmosphere. The event is free and the refreshments will be on a Scottish theme; tablet, Scottish tea and coffee, tunnocks t-cakes, irn-bru etc. |
